These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Paws Stories service ("Service"), available at pawsstories.store. By purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Paws Stories is an annual subscription service. During one year, you (or the person to whom you have gifted the subscription) receive one guided question per week by email. Answers are gathered and, at the end of the year, are compiled into a personalized keepsake book delivered in PDF format and, optionally, in one or more printed copies according to the chosen option.
Prices and payment
The prices displayed on the site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are payable in a single upfront payment. Applicable taxes (GST, QST or HST, depending on your province) are added at checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe.
30-day satisfaction guarantee
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund of your subscription, without justification. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@pawsstories.store. Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
After 30 days, cancellation is still possible but no refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the subscription. Answers already provided remain accessible and are included in the final book.
Delivery of printed books
Printed books are produced and shipped at the end of the 52-week subscription period, or earlier at your request. Shipping within Canada is included in the price of options with printed copies. International shipping may incur additional fees, quoted separately.
Estimated printing and shipping time is 4 to 6 weeks after the end of the subscription. We will notify you when your book is shipped.
Content ownership
You retain full ownership of the content you provide in response to the weekly questions. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, format, and print this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never publish, share, or use your content for advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Confidentiality
The privacy of your answers is paramount. Only you and the recipients you designate have access to your content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Liability
Our total liability towards you, all damages combined, is limited to the amount paid for your subscription in the past 12 months. We do not accept liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the loss of content resulting from technical incidents beyond our control (although we take every reasonable measure to prevent them).
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate a subscription in the event of a serious breach of these terms, in particular the sending of illegal, defamatory, or offensive content. In such a case, a refund proportional to the unused period will be issued.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the judicial district of Longueuil, Quebec.
